Yesterday I received a letter from Acura, providing a warranty extension (to 9 years from purchase date or 125,000 miles) regarding the keyless start system.
It looks like when the starter button is toast, the MID displays start system error.
Then you have to contact the dealer and it will be taken care of for free.
They are also compensating owners who had the start/stop button replaced already.
Kind of strange that they aren't just replacing the buttons the next time you bring the car in for service,
