Problem with brand new NA2 Tail Lights ( different colour )

Hi guys,

I just received my brand new NA2 Tail lights yesterday and as soon as I opened the packaging I noticed right away the RH tail light, the reverse light is much darker than the LH. Even the red tint is slightly darker but I cant quite get it on camera.

I'm sure that I bought the right set.

Any of you guys ever encountered this problem before ?

Yup, they are darker...

This is just a guess.....You might have bought the model with the rear fog light.

I looked at these 2 ebay listings and i used those part numbers. They are the same colour reverse lights on the listings

I know the pre 02 JDM lights have a darker reverse light. Maybe the 02+ JDM lights are similar and you received one for the US market and one for the Japanese market. Very interesting, I always thought they were the same.

They seem to be JDM NSX tail light part numbers, so should both have white back up lights. The US part # for 02 rear lights would end in -A02. The right hand UK tail light has a very obvious red insert instead of the 'white' backup light lens.
Manufacturing issue?
