Problem in the garage

I just bought a new townhouse but there's a problem. There's a stupid parking block in the garage preventing the NSX from coming home, it's wasting about two feet of space. The block is pinned in place with two rods. I thought of taking a sledge hammer and breaking it into pieces but I don't want to damage the floor beneath it.

Any suggestions

Is the block in your garage a parking curb as found in parking lots? I think you could use a chisel and hammer to loosen the areas around the re-bar and then cut the bar off level with the ground with a grinder when you are done.

Try lifting the entire parking block with a wide flange prybar and cribing. You'll proably be able to lift it off the rebar pins, then work the pins loose and remove. Make sure you caulk and seal the holes left behind.

I used a hand truck to get it up and off the pins and then sledge hamered the pins down flush with the floor. Your could also use a large punch and drive the pins down with the barier in place and then drag it out.
