Ok, after 4.5 years of ownership, I think that the first serious defeat in my NSX. My right front tie-rod shows some play to the steering gearbox side and definitly makes noise over bumps. I can feel the play by inspecting by about 0.5 mm. The tie-rod end is ok and the wheel still stable. That was it what I was wondering about for more than one year.
My mechanic told me about greasing it. But if it's too late, a new steering gearbox will take place. Price in US-$?

Do you mean the rack?

Have you verified the bushings are not worn? Have you isolated the play to the gear mechanism? The rack itself does not easily wear with mileage unless there was damage from an accident. We have a new urethane bushing kit coming out that installs quickly and may address your issue.

Using my VIN to search, I could only find a power steering rack, not a manual for some reason. List is $5290, Delray Acura price $4200 American. If you actually need one, I would look for a used one.

I've took a (bad) picture of it to address it as it's quite difficult to explain it even in my language.
The wheel is stable, the outer tie-rod-end too but the tie-rod-end to the steering rack shows some play up/down or back/forth but not play left/right. My car has 60k miles and no known crash.
My left tie-rod shows no play at all. :)
The sound is really annoying, sounds like I'm driving an Hyunday and not a Honda.
My mechanic told me about greasing it (could anybody here translate: Führungshülse des Lenkgetriebes) and if it doesn't go away to change the steering rack. I've found the shocking price of the EPS-rack but no price for a standard rack. It seems to be a common problem my mechanic told me and he's NSX-specialist.
