Pre-purchase inspection in South Orange County

Good afternoon.

My wife and I are contemplating the purchase of what appears to be a very good condition pre-owned NSX. I would like to have the car inspected by a thorough and knowledgable shop/dealership. I understand from my research online that dealers aren't necessarily the best resource for such work.

Is there anyplace in South Orange County or that vicinity that any of you would recommend?

If your in SoOrCo your choices are Ramon @ Niguel Motors or Mission Viejo Acura. Further north are many more Acura dealers and Indys. Ramon works on of both my Acuras,Donnas and Ryans: were all very pleased. :biggrin:

Ramon is apparently the current mechanic on the car. I've heard very good things about him and it's not a slight against the gentleman but I'm hoping to get another independant resource. We had very, very, very bad experiences with Mission Viejo with my wife's Integra some years ago. I'd really rather not go there.

Any other thoughts? I know NSX modified is DOA.

Try Autowave and speak to Shane. If there someone who knows the NSX I'm sure Shane can give it a good inspection. He 's in Huntington Beach
