I was just browsing through the FAQ on the 97 NSX and read that more parts had to be switched a newer type of aluminum to counter the weight generated by adding a new transmission and larger brakes.
The unit body is suppose to weight 462lbs (40% lighter than steel). If this is the case, how come the car still weights close to a Porsche 911 or Corvette. Where is all the weight savings?
