I recently had the timing belt changed on my 91 NSX. I took the car to local mechanic who experimented on my car and made a mess. I called the dealer and he wanted an outrageous amount of money and told me that the valve had to be replaced. I posted this problem on the NSX forum and was directed by a fellow NSXer in Houston,to a wonderful guy by the name of Brad. He quickly identified the problem and offered to fix the problem for far less than the dealer. I picked up my car today from him and was very impressed with job well done.

Brad owns Autologic in Houston and specializes in NSX's, I strongly recommend him to all Houston area NSX'ers.

He can be reached at 713-516-2081.

Nice of you to post that. Need more of that kind of thing going on. When someone helps you out or you find a shop that is willing to go the extra mile for you.

While i'm too far away to drive down to get stuff done, Brad has helped me out with selling me a ECU & TCS ECU, at a very good price. It arrived very quicky, and was well packed and protected.

Theres a few more parts on my shopping list for winter time, and Brad will definitely be getting a call.

Thanks for posting this valuable information.....I am

about to pick up my NSX this weekend and it is good to know that there is someone reliable and trustworthy I can turn to in the future.

This might be the biggest understatement I've ever seen on this site. Jason is truly gifted when it comes to tuning cars. That Viper he built is absolutely amazing.

Actually I would say he cannot be reached at that number. I've called him ten times and my car is sitting - he never answers the phone and my car may be sitting because of that. Not that my car breaking is his fault, but nobody in Houston has the coolant overflow hose required to get it running again and I would imagine he might have one on the shelf. A $7 hose means I have to rent a car for 4 days. Pathetic!

Seems it might be worth it to hire a minimum wage secretary to answer the phone?

One Frustrated Zap:frown:

MegaZap and 1TITENSX: Did you guys ever get a hold of him? Brad told me he would be away from the shop for much of January.

Ojas, I haven't tried since. If that's the case, I wonder why he didn't say that he wasn't going to be there on the answering service for his shop

Same thing I said to Mark at Dali 3 weeks ago after calling Autologic 50 times and getting no response, and I think Mark got through to him - his answering machine (or service) now says (on Feb 5) that he will be on vacation from Jan 1 to Jan 26! Left another message and still no ans and no callback.
I could understand it if I was asking for $100 worth of work, but for a job with $2k in labor? Business must be 2 good!
