powdercoated calipers

Anybody thinking about caliper powdercoating I just got mine back. What do you think?

I went to my acura dealer and they removed the calipers and held my car for @3 days.I then brought the calipers to a place that just does powdercoating.When they were done I brought them back to acura and they put them back on.The place I used is on Long Island,if your interested in the name let me know.Cost was about $150 a caliper.
 
dang thats costly...go to hpcoatings.com they quoted me 200 for all four rotors and 200 for all four calipers..so 400 bux for all..hpc coating resists heat better and lasts longer...

Your pads would just scrape the powdercoating off..

its not powdercoating its hpc coating..a little different..looks like polished aluminum..mine havent worn the coating off..ill get some pics up..
