Posting pics here on Prime

It will only allow me to upload a max of 97KB. That is a tiny picture. How do people post big pictures here????
If you're trying to stick to NSXPrime's attach picture restrictions, files under 100KB and sized less than 800x800 should look fine. If you want more pixel resolution, you'll need to have another site host it (or upload it to your gallery in the NSXPrime owner's gallery section), and link to it's location.

OK. The thread I started entitled "Check out my new Viper" had a pic that is about 96KB and is only 200x65. If I make the picture any bigger, it exceeds the 97K. So you would recommend uploading that picture to the gallery section? I'm afraid to ask, but how would I link it?

Even though that file has a .jpg extension, suggesting JPEG image format (which is usually the format you want to use), it’s actually a bitmap image. Bitmaps usually have a .bmp extension.

If you open the file in an image editor and save in JPEG format, the file size will be much smaller.

If it's still under the 800x800 pixel resolution image, adjust your JPEG compression settings so that file size is under 100K after you save it.

What image processing package are you using?
