Tim Horton's has a big presence in certain States, MI being one of them although not every 500 feet like Toronto. As for Canadian Tire I hear you but it is a nostalgia thing with me (I've reached the stage of life where I want to take frequent trips to the past in the Time Tunnel -- wasn't that a TV show back in the day?). In fact when I travel between Toronto and Detroit I make it a point to stop at Cdn Tire -- there is no better windshield washer fluid than the Cdn Tire green stuff good to -45!
