Post NSX Spottings

2001 red in Edmonton yesterday, brought up from states by a Dentist. Nice gut, his turn though to buy at Earls.

Monday 2:15pm: Black NSX-T with top off turning right from commerce valley drive east onto highway 7. Unfortunately I was in a buddy's car. License plate started with AWBX I believe, so it's a new owner.

BTW, tumbler where did you see the red NSX? On the weekdays, I'm on the 407 eastbound between dufferin and leslie around 10-11am, and around 6-6:30pm westbound.

I saw a pre-02 silver one turning onto Eglinton between Avenue Road and SPAdina road - I was in at Fererro eating so I couldn't see a plate.

Approx 1pm: Red modified NSX with black wing heading south on leslie (just south of hwy 7). We waved to each other... but I'm not sure who it was. Anyone on here? (Rick?)

Black 91-94 on WB Eglinton and Mavis Sat at around 5:00pm

And today a nice modded spa yellow...... everytime I look out my window at work. And Dave, it's not you.

So when are we having this cruise. It's starting to get cold out, but the S/C is loving it.

Yeah I noticed I picked up some power with the cooler weather as well. That reminds me, I still need to get the car tuned on a dyno because I think now I'm running rich with the new fuel pump.

Speaking of get-togethers a friend is renting out shannonville for the entire day on Oct 20th. They need 26 cars (have 12 so far). Passing will be allowed on back and front straight. No instructers, but will have experienced drivers who will be available to ride along. Price will be approx $120. Anyone interested?

I'm here and yellow!

I noticed the car is a little rough running (rich) in the (cold) mornings when you first start it and the temp is below the guage's range. I'm running Ultra 94 right now, my guess is too much octane + air volume + cold engine isn't nice. When I finish this tank I'll try 91 and see.

Any thoughts?

All those nice NSXs running around....warms my heart. :D

Hey Red,

Nice to meet you on Friday. Guess we spotted each other!

The NSX runs rich when the engine (coolant) temp is cold. Once the car warms up, the car will run less rich. Stay with 94. Our cars actually like to have 98 so the higher the better...

I'd love to join you guys but I'm out of town. I'll be in France / Amsterdam and Buddapest for 2 weeks. Hope to see you guys soon.

Great spotting you too!

I actually owe the spotting to two guys walking by. (we were parked at queen and Bathurst area, right across the street from each other!)

One guy said the the other, "Such a rare car, the chances of seeing two at once - I'm going to go buy a lotto ticket."

That made me look!

Your car is HOT (wheels and Shave are great!). I'd like to see you nav/bluetooth, the more I think about it the more I like!

Your exhaust note was sweet, do you find it too loud to talk on the phone while you're driving? (Its the problem I have with the Porsche, fun car to roll in - bad car to try to get work done while you're driving!)

Looking forward to getting together when you're back!

Black Automatic NSX, around 2pm at the parking lot by Keg's restaurant at corner of Hwy 7 and East Beaver Creek. I left the owner a note, see if we can get him on Prime.
