Jimbo - this wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Did u know in the first Gulf War Iraq used a lot of French-made military hardware (planes and anti-air from memory).
And the USA dominated them!
No wonder the french don't want another war... it just shows the world that 1) france sold it to them, and 2) french military is 2nd rate to the USA!

I just got back from Germany last night and the sentiment against US & Bush is really fervent there right now - it was raised in almost every conversation with local interaction.
The media is really promoting a negative image of this as an unsubstantiated personal vendetta.
