Post C&C breakfast road trip Jan 31

Hello NSX'ers! This is for those planning on attending our big Irvine Cars & Coffee NSX Marque event on Saturday, Jan. 31. A post-event breakfast road trip is now on for those interested in attending. We will meet at Jagerhause, same as was done back in 2007. They have a banquet room that I reserved at 10:00 AM. This place is freeway close and has sufficient parking.

I am beginning a sign-up list for those who want to join. This will be a fun gathering and another road trip opportunity. Here are a few details:

Cost: $15.30 ($12.75/person + 20% gratuity for banquet service)
Getting there: parade run to venue
Distance from C&C: ~15 miles, all freeway
Food: a nice variety of egg, sausage, potato, etc. items, German style
C&C departure time: 9:30 AM
Payment: Following the meal. BRING CASH!

Note: Anyone not sure if they will go can still go and get general seating. We may be able to accommodate a couple of extras in the banquet room. I do need to call in our headcount so they know how much food to prepare, so firm RSVPs are helpful.

I have not been there before. Some restaurant critics rate Denny's and Ihop as good places to eat breakfast, two places I would avoid. So, why worry about that. How many times do you get to eat a buffet breakfast with German food? Join us for the fun of it. If the food is OK, all the better.

i'm not in it for the food. just as long as it's edible. we're close to the date so it's time for folks to just make decisions.

Hey! I used to live around there and I know where it is. The parking lot isn't the largest in the world. Hope u guys can get parking there. Just make sure there's enough for everyone! :smile:

Hey Brian. Yea, I saw the parking lot from a satellite photo. They have sufficient paved parking and a dirt overflow lot adjacent. Depending upon how many go, we'll get there early enough for paved parking per Cindie, the owner. So, why not join us?

Sign me in since I suggested the place !!! As for the several concerns about parking and food quality expressed in this thread, I'll do my best to address them......
The parking lot is not "HUGE" , but the restaurant is located in a quiet commercial strip mall that is even less busy on weekends........Assumming that the business flow will be typical for a Saturday morning in that area, I don't see a parking problem (unless all 70 NSX's show up). As for food quality, everyone that I have taken there has raved about the food...albeit it has always been for breakfast..I don't have that much experience w/ their dinner or lunch menus......My first visit there was in 1995.....Usually, if a restaurant sucks, people will stop going there and the business will close......This place has been open in the same location for at least twenty years......Furthermore, the restaurant is literally right off the freeway.....No crawling through stop and go traffic to reach the destination......
