Hey guys,
After installing the SOS extended shift stalk, when shifting from left to right or vice versa, there is a popping noise right before I can go fully left/right. I don't think this was present before the installation. I took it apart again today to try and trace where the noise may be coming from. When the shift assembly was removed, I played around with the shift linkages, specifically with the linkage associated with the left/right movement. If I reproduce the movement with just the linkage, I can feel the pop very slightly. I'm thinking this may becomes more pronounced once the whole assembly is put back together.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
