Due to life's circumstances, I am looking for a new home for my Miata. As much as I love the car I don't get to drive her much anymore, and I am looking for a good home for her. I am the original owner and she was bought new and always serviced at the dealer. I spent many hours washing, waxing and polishing her every square inch, and it hurts to think that we may part ways. So from your experiences, where is the best place to advertise. The local newspaper, Buy & Sell or Ebay?

Thanks so much for stopping to read this and for your consideration and answer.

I'm using a company called www.greatcarsandtrucks.com

they advertise your car for 3 months for $150. If you don't sell it for asking price they refund your money.

I just placed the add, so I don't have any feedback for you yet.

You got scammed hardcore.

You'll never see your money, and they'll never advertise your car.

:frown:

Sorry.

I like Autotrader or Carpages, too bad ur in BC, I could have helped out in Ontario!

It is advertised. I checked. I have heard problems with getting the refund if you don't sell it though. I'll let everyone know.

Autotrader was great until they sold the company to the yellow pages. Now instead of a month's worth of advertising you get 2 weeks, and they put all of the dealer adds at the front of the magazine. They get pricey with their new formats and rules.

Thanks for your sugestions.

I am trying Autotrader, for two weeks and will let you know about the results. I will include a link to the ad.

Red - what is that you do to help facilitaing the sale of cars? Why is it only in Toronto?

Thanks again

'Cuz anyone who doesn't live in TO isn't worth my time!  jk

Seriously, I'm in the car biz, but in Ontario, and more specifically Toronto - I can't do much in BC, no strong connections.
