Luis and I drove the track this Sunday and let me just say I think you all will have a blast and will be craving more. The track has some very good elevation changes (40 foot drop), off camber turns, high speed turns, a hairpin and a brief down hill to up hill straight.

Eric, the owner, has great clean facilities and is excited to have us. Very cool laid back guy who just enjoys cars like we do. I think Luis was so impressed he is now looking for land around Austin!!!

So just a few reminders for this weekend:
CAR INSPECTION:
1) There is not a formal car inspection required. This is a lead follow event to introduce many to what a track day is all about. However........
2) PLEASE check your vehicle for any potential problems. We need to make sure that there are ZERO fluid leaks. Tracking oil, tranny fluid, cooling fluid, brake fluid is NOT good and dangerous for all of us. We want to be invited back.
3) PLEASE make sure that your safety equipment is functional. Example, brakes work!, seat belts are functional, windshields intact. This to protect yourself and others. THIS IS NOT TRACK SPECIFIC BY THE WAY!
4) PLEASE be aware that we do need to meet a noise limit requirement. I can say that I was okay with my GT-One v5.1 with no cats the last time I was there. If it turns out some individuals are way too loud then partial throttle running should be fine versus WOT.

HELMETS:
A reminder for folks that want to run in the advanced group/solo laps that you must have a helmet (SA2000 or higher). They have two or three loaners at the track, just in case we are short a few.

If you do not want to run in the advanced or solo groups you are not required to have a helmet.

IF YOU HAVE ONE, BRING IT AND WEAR IT REGARDLESS OF RUN GROUP.

FOR NEWBIES / ADVANCED FOLKS:
Just a good link on the S2000 board if you have any questions.

I just want to also remind everyone of a few things.
1) BE SAFE and COURTEOUS. We all will be driving there with nice and clean cars. I can speak for everyone here, Insert Your Name wants to bring his car home the way I brought it.
2) No one in the group is battling for a spot on a Formula 1 team.
3) Have Fun!!!!

11:00-11:15am - Parade Lap
11:20-11:40am - Group 1 (Int/Adv)
