Hi Guys,

There are two plastic fasteners underneath the each side of the side skirts. The two fasteners are used to prevent side skirts from sliding.

I can't seem to find the part number in the parts catalog for this fastener. Could someone please help me out?

Thanks

Thanks for your input, but I am still confused as to which part I need to get. Please see the picture:

Clips-.JPG

The clip on the top of the picture is for the inner liners (91545-SE0-003). This is not what I need right now. I am looking for the clip on the bottom of the picture. The location of this clip is on the bottom of the side skirts. There are two of them on each side. This is used to prevent the side skirt from sliding.

From the parts diagram, the only thing that look similar is #31. It's sold for $0.22 The price is too low for me to believe that's the one I need.

Drew: Is there a picture associate with the part # you have mentioned? The part numer is for a 95 NSX.

Very confused.

Thanks again Drew. I think I will order a couple of the #31 clip from the local dealer tomorrow and see if it's the correct one. The link you have provided is wonderful and I will use it again in the future.

I went to one of our local Acura dealers today and bought the fasteners. I was shocked that the dealer has 10 units in stock (they never have anything for NSX). The part number is 90505-SM4-003 Clip, Garnish.

The list price of this clip is $0.28. DelRay Acura sells them for $0.22 a piece. The dealer where I bought the clip from charged me $0.90 each! What a rip off. I bought them anyway since it’s still cheaper than if I were to order them online.

SM4 is a Honda Accord.

SL0 designate parts designed for the NSX....so your dealer still probably doesn't have anything for the NSX.

Drew,

The part # is from the NSX parts catalog:

90505-SM4-003 CLIP, GARNISH 4 1992 NSX 0.28

I am not sure if Accords use some of the same clips in NSX's. Well, it doesn't matter. The clips I bought yesterday were the same exact ones in my car. :)

You wanted help with part numbers, here you go ;)

No you have it backwards: the NSX (SL0) is using clips originally designed for the Accord (SM4).

Any part number with the infix of "SL0" is a part that was originally designed for the NSX.

If it doesn't have SL0 in it, then it was either a for another model or a generic part (fasteners, bulk tubing, assembly materials, etc...)

The NSX also uses a lot of parts originally designed for other cars. It is called "parts bin engineering" a really good thing in most cases.
