OK, so it's not a substitute for the real thing. But works great waiting in-between track days. Some driving simulators can cost up to $20K, and are now used by pro drivers as training tools. Now I can drive Laguna Seca or Infineon every night. The best thing is I can press the re-start button if I crash my NSX:smile:

Their product looks real nice!!! Like I said, some of these custom simulators can cost as much as a small car.

I like their disclaimer: Warning: This is the most addictive fun and driver training you’ll get your hands on…

+1

an ex racer (bike) buddy of mine says to me "dude, you gotta check out my new addiction" well he has a HUGE/AMAZING media/audio room set up (like a 10'+foot projector that is more $$ than my NSX!, the best computers he built, and audio system) and has this EXACT setup/seat...he plays online all the time and i hop in first time and was BLOWN AWAY! He even uses the MoTec software to download, analyze his data, make changes, etc! I just hopped in and first time ever did a 2:04 at Valencia..not too bad...

I would seriously NEVER leave my house if i had that set up! simply amazing. The feedback in the wheel, the real time data, etc is so real its unbelievable!

In fact im hitting him up to swing by tonight and try Magny Cours (we've raced there!) or maybe Donnington?

Does the clutch pedal actually work for any console racing games?

If you look at the telemetry data for Forza 2 on the Xbox 360, it has code showing whether or not the clutch is engaged. But, I don't think any control device has been implemented yet to take advantage.
