Plastic Bumpers and Fiberglass

I am working on filling in the running light holes in on my 2001 NSX bumper and was wondering is there anything special that needs to happen to get the fiberglass to bond good. I don’t want cracking or adhesion failure.

what i would probably do is drill small holes along the inside of the bumper where you wont beable to see and have the fiberglass fall into the holes so that it prevents it from moving side to side and breaking apart from the plastic. just a thought.
