after been dead for several days.. my stupid retard climate control decided to wake up from its hibernation... so I try to do the climate control diagnostic...
however.. when I trying to do the diagnostic.. its like on and off by itself.. but when I turn the ignition on.. its ok again.. so I tried to do the diagnostic second time. and same thing again.. this time when I turned the ignition on, its dead.. seems that its pissed and went back to sleep again. SO DOES I, I got pissed and removed the panel and took it out and opened it up.

I'm not done yet.. the server doesnt let me PO long storys so I have to divide it

It seems ok inside the ic board.. no burning smell or signs of whatsoever.. I took a pic and decided to let you guys see and tell me what do you think about it.

However its owner which is me.. is a retard too.. I accidentally deleted the pic when I'm arranging pix on my camera!!! damn!

its a pain to open it up again.. its easy but time consuming!!!!

so far the info's I've gathered are
no blown fuse
the connectors at the climate control back are connected correctly
the climate control is like new besides the base of the screw ( plastic ring like part ) cracked and broked ( I didnt do it!!! )
no ic chip burned up smell

btw. how much would Acura dealer charge me for running a diagnostic on it?

second I wonder would there be anyone kind enough to lend me a working head control unit to try.

Sorry its long.. and I know you guys are sick and tired about my volumes of climate control craps. I wanna put an end to it too!!

Sorry to hear about your problems. Just a couple of weeks ago, I had to fork over $2K+ to replace my climate control unit. The dealer gave me 10% off. (I could have gotten ~20% off at Niello, but they said that it would take several weeks before I got the parts).
Anyways, best of luck.

What have you replaced? the control unit behind the illuminate dash or more?

B]

The Acura tech told me that my climate control chip was toast, and he said that I had to have the following two parts:

1. Illumination Assembly
Part# 79650-SL0-A03
Price: $997, Niello: ~$700

2.Computer Assembly
Part# 79610-SL0-A02
Price: $826, Niello: ~$600

Now, it works perfectly (actually, even better than before), but it really hurt my pocketbook!

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. In fact, I'm pretty clueless about mechanics in general.

Computer assembly IS the thingy attached to the illuminate face. Just a piece of IC board with chip, capacitors.... and it's over $500:-(

Computer assembly for AC control unit. Part# 79610-SL0-A02

If you decide to do it yourself, just be careful not to scratch or break the panel.
