Hello everyone,

The build designation of this C30A engine is the LoveFab LF1200, which designates from 1200HP. This engine was built to, and will support 1000WHP with proper fueling and forced induction components.

We are switching drivetrains in the Pikes Peak NSX, so the C30A is no longer needed. We had a very successful race with this engine, however, in testing after the race, we had some issues. As a result, we were forced to perform a complete refresh in order to return the engine to usable condition, including new pistons and cylinder heads.

New 90.5mm CP 9:1 pistons were used in this refresh. The fantastic Carrillo Connecting rods were reused as well as the majority of the rod and main bearings. The bearings that weren't replaced only had 9 hours on them and as they showed no signs of wear, were re-used. Prior to assembly, the new pistons and entire rotating assembly were balanced to within 1/2 of a gram. We took several pictures documenting the block assembly process.

Here is the build room being prepped. The block and all engine parts have already gone through an extensive cleaning and tolerance-checking procedure.

Here, the main bearings are heavily lubricated with assembly-lube to prevent any damage from start-up.

The crank is placed into the bearings to begin assembly:

Next, the pistons and connecting rods were installed:

The cylinder heads are not yet installed, nor completed. The reason we have not yet put completed these is because the purchaser may want different components installed. If we were to complete the job per our preference, we would use Supertech valve springs and retainers, as well as Supertech Valves.

We are asking $14,999 for the completed engine assembly. This would include the block as assembled above, the completely refreshed cylinder heads with Supertech components, Power Enterprise Super Kevlar II timing belt, all timing covers and valve covers, sealed, timed, valve lashed, ready to turn over.

If the engine sells ahead of us completing the cylinder heads, we will need two weeks to complete the assembly and shipping process. Shipping is to be handled and paid for directly by the purchaser; no exceptions. We are willing to crate the engine and prepare for shipping, however, no funds will leave our accounts related to shipping. We've had terrible luck relating to freight charges this year, and as such, are unwilling to ship at our expense.

Not included are any sensors, intake manifold, oil filter housing, harmonic balancer, engine harness, coils, alternator, alternator bracket, or injectors. This is a bare-bones, sealed long block, which is ready to bolt these components to. Once the components are installed, and the engine is installed into an NSX, a ~500 mile break-in is recommended.

Or, if preferred we can perform the installation here, and can even offer a "core" program for your NSX engine. After installation, we can also "break-in" the LF1200 engine on our Mustang MD250 Chassis dyno, and also offer our tuning services to put this engine to proper use.

Thank you for reading. For any questions, please email me.
