Would like to see how the Advan 5 flows with the lines of the NSX. Where to buy them in silver/brushed/chrome?

Thanks

I must say...I have loved the nsx since it first debuted, and I have seen many awesome mods and ppl's display of perfection about their cars, but its been rare that iv said, "wow, thats how I want my car to look" Iv always just wanted to buy an fcar and keep my beauty as is...UNTIL I SAW THIS PIC!!

The Advan 5 design looks just like the wheels that are on Hotwheel diecast toys.

These chrome-finish ones, with Bridgestone Potenza's, are also available, with a price similar to Brian's silver wheels.

What finish were you interested in? This is a great-looking wheel for the nsx.

Hey Scorp

I really want a set of chrome or regular silver finish Model 5's ,but I've looking for a 17x7 front with a 17x9 or 17x10 rear with no sucess. Got any idea where I might check?

The Model 5's I posted are 17/18, but a setup in 17/17 should be easier to find over the long term, as there is a wider variety of cars the wheels could have been purchased for, rather than simply looking for a set of pull offs from an nsx only; the most plentiful source for the advans are used part dealers in Japan, you could probably have a broker locate a set for you with minimal hassle. This having been said, the 18" rear really accentuates the stance of the nsx, I think it might ruin the aesthetic appeal of this rim if it were installed in a 17/17 combination.

I agree with scorp965, the 17/18 combo really flows well with the NSX lines. Going 17 in the rears might not look as nice. It's up to you! You are better off trying to find a retailer that still have that size in stock. Most advan 5 owners that ive seen have the 17/18 combo. Good luck!

I have some 17/18 advans with nitto nt-555 tires if anyone is interested. Dark silver metallic and in mint condition! I love these wheels but going for a different look! PM me if you are interested.

Oh yeah I'd seen those on Yahoo. I want the 17/17 for tire purposes. I really prefer 18/18 but again tires become problematic. Thanks I never thought to ask my broker as I was just kinda of looking every once in awhile hoping to come across a set.

Thanks I want a 17" set so I can go with a set of RE070s and the they don't make an 18 inch in that tire to fit an 18x9 or 18x10.

Thanks Jason ya finally picked up a clean 91 with low miles. Got some coilovers on the way since the car is riding high on stock suspension. The car is great and i can see how many people don't understand how great an NSX is till they own one! =)

If want to keep the weight down and indirectly improve handling isn't
17-7 front and 18-8 rear best option?

Also will running bigger wheels reduce acceration?

Just something to think about... here is the Model 5 replacement, the Model T5:

We have a set in stock in Bronze. This wheel is very new, and unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the wheel on a NSX yet. The wheel looks incredible in person, pictures do not do this one justice.

Cheers,
