I thought you'd enjoy some picts from the 9/7 round 6 Super Taikyu race in Japan. This car is TAITEC's endurance racing NSX sponsored by Delphi/Advan. It shares the class with another NSX sponsored by BP/Advan (shown). A team fielding a S2000 had an incident after a crash with a fuel tank rupture, engulfing the car in flames. Luckily, the driver is safe. The big battle of this race was the heat - both for the driver and the car. Some quick fashioning of ducting provided increased ventilation to the driver. Even with an increased duct on the new bumper and ventilation vanes in the hood, the car still had overheating problems. The NSX is a test bed for many new products including bodywork and TAITEC's testing of TEIN's new prototype N1 damper kit for NSX. TAITEC's team placed 3rd in class. Next race is on the 27th at Sugo Circuit.

Interesting... thanks for posting.
Do you have more info on the Super Taikyu series (schedule, participants, car specs) ?? The cars seem more street-like than the JGTC ones, which are really (at top GT500) closer to FIA-GT cars.

Also, are OTHER NSX tuners (Mugen, Autobacs, Phase, etc) also participating in ths Super Taikyu series ?
