I read somwhere in the FAQ that it would be nice to see the before and after aspirator fan clean pics.

here are the pics for those who wonder what it is and wanted to know how it's made.

Did it fix the noise problem?

Mine has the same problem. I started taking the console out per the shop manual but chickened out with the air vents. The manual shows a screw driver prying clips below the vent. I did not see how without trashing the plastic.

Thanks Puma for the pictures. Great work.

I don't have any problems with the fan but it is making that purring sound all the time. Blasted it with some high-pressure air but with no results.
Do you really have to get out the whole console for this or is there any kind of shortcut that I might try.

yeah you need to remove all the console but it really is no biggie, it probably is the car which i found was the easiest.

i think i cured my problem, didn't run the car so far so only tried it for a short time.
