My 91 auto NSX presently has 55k miles with the following upgrades: DC Sports headers, Comptech straight pipes, RSR exhaust, RM racing cold air intake, Ground Control coilovers, 18 X 8.5 (215/35) and 19 X 9.5 (265/30) Enkei Aegis.

I can see by how many times you have edited your message you are trying to figure out how do do this?

Sweet car. I noticed you have Grond Control coilovers, how far did you drop your car? They have a 0-3 inch adjustability right?

I adjusted the height low enough were it is at the limits as far as the camber setting. My NSX is dropped about 1.5" or slightly more. I think GC max drop is 2 inches. I wish someone made a camber kit for the NSX because when I went to get my car aligned, I had to raise it up some

Nice car!

What are the offsets on the rims, how much did you pay for them, and from where? I just love huge rims!

Couldn't you go with a wider rear rim? or was it because they didn't offer/make it?

Sorry, I am not sure what the offsets were. If you call Enkei at 1-800-875-3100, they should be able to tell you the correct offset. I paid only $2k for the rims from a local place in Norfolk, VA

. I got a good deal because these rims usually go for almost about $3k or more. I should be able to go with a 19 X 10 in the rear but Enkei doesn't make the 19 X 10

, http://www.enkei.com/wheels_ex_wheel.asp?id=38. You could use some spacers to go a little bit more wider. I couldn't go with a 18 X 8 in the front because they did not make the correct offset for the NSX in this size.

I have a couple of questions for you.
Do you have any issues with rubbing in the front with 215's on a 8.5" wheel? It seems that the tire would be pretty stretched out for a wheel that wide.

I have to ask you one other question.
Of all the places in Virginia to take a photogragh who's idea was it to take a photo of your NSX in front of a construction site with a Port-a-John as your background? That has to be one of the funniest NSX photos I've ever seen.

I don't have any rubbing issues in the front. With the coilover setup, I am able to raise the height of the car in the front which allows me to prevent any rubbing. I will eventually go with a 225/35 in the front because the 215/35 does expose the lip of the rim a little bit. I took the pics at a local elementary school and at Langley Air Force base (Port-a-John place). It was a spare of the moment thing. I will be creative next time.

Nice ride. Car looks great!!

I was considering an 18/19 setup awhile back but thought the cost of high perf rubber would be prohibitive (I track the car on street tires). Also never got around to checking on clearance fitments with my big brake kit.

Was wondering if you noticed any adverse effects with the heavier wheel/tire combo, particularly with the automatic. Was thinking off-the-line acceleration might be a tad slower.

Also, those OE ROTORS look tiny compared to the huge rims. There are some aftermarket packages that mount the OE calipers on larger-diameter rotors.
