pics of my DIY projects

Hi Bart

That's what I call a good winter project! I'm impressed! Very good pictures of the gearbox working.
Maybe I'm getting my shorties plus R & P in March.

Greetings,
Thomas

Great write up.....quite the project you have going there. I've always wanted to rebuild an engine, however I'd be more nervous doing the NSXs...... Maybe I'll start with an old Dodge Omni

keep us posted

I thomas.

When I opened the gearbox, I found some parts that needed changing as well. I changed all bearings and 3 sleeve-sets. (an extra 1,000$)
just to let you know...

Most impressive Bart.
Youll have a completely different Nsx by the time everythings done !

What was the mileage on your engine that you needed to have engine work done btw ?

about 65 kmiles

One of the head-gaskets failed. I decided to get the engine out because of wintertime.

I've ordered all synchros and the main bearings too just to be on the sure side. :)
Your bearing on the differential seems quite used.

Wow Bart,

Looks like a Deja-vu for me.
Short gears and ring and pinion..., you gonna love that ;)

Why you did the oilpump?

Hope to meet you soon on one of the events.
