Andymo,
what is your call name on the Viper sites?
nice car btw!

pforpaul - Good eye...I live in Colorado Springs actually.

brian2by2 - I am looking to get mid-low 40's for my Viper. If you want any details, email or pm me.

randall - i use the same name on the VCA site...never joined the "other" site. I had emailed you though asking some NSX questions.

wow....great color choices on both cars!

Hmmm...now that somebody mentioned about the color, does anyone know if they named that particular shade of blue (long beach blue) after Long Beach, CA? It seems odd if they did.

Beautiful NSX! I have not seen that color in person but it looks great in the photos.

I have an 03 NSX in red. As I am sure happens to you guys, every time some other nice care (Porsche, Ferrari, NSX....etc) sees me, they waive. There is a guy in my area with a new Viper who is an obnoxious SOB! I waived at him a few times thinking he did not see me but he just drives on. I have no idea how or why a guy in a Viper would have attitude but I guess he is just a !#$#!%. Just had to vent a little.

I think there is no comparison between the looks of the NSX and the Viper but I appreciate beautiful cars and those who decide to invest in them.

Enjoy your cars everyone;)

They did and its not that odd when you consider the Long Beach Grand Prix is run in, well... Long Beach.

Beautiful car AndyMo. Congrat's to you and thanks as well for sharing those pic's. I'm uber jealous.

we seem to see the 03's in blue a lot, but it doesn't bother me at all because the new headlights match up with that blue spectacularly. looks great man. oh! btw which is more fun to drive teh nsx or the viper?

Asenna88 - thanks for the offer but I actually live in Colorado so I probably won't be taking the car to IL for service...:D

FinallyNSXing - Congrats on the NSX, since owning a red Esprit and a red Viper, I needed a color change but red still looks great. what I've found is that there are jerks that drive just about every kind of car and some people get this mindset like their car is the only car that is any good and everything else is inferior. I'm a car guy. Anything that looks cool and catches my eye I'll look at and talk to the owner if given the chance.

I can't really say too much about which car is more fun to drive yet b/c I'm still in the break-in period of my NSX (<5K rpm at all times, etc). The NSX, as described to me by a couple members here, is definitely more refined and smooth. The Viper is more bare bones muscle but not as tough as I thought to drive...and that torque!! Once I get the NSX broke in, I'll push it a bit and give some more feedback.

Thanks, this is my first "real" sports car and I had to go with the red. I am totally happy with it.

I am sure the rest of you get challenged to races all the time but in my area, it is the Corvettes and the Vipers that seem to have the biggest issues. It may be the personality difference between NSX owners and vette/viper guys/gals but I never find a Ferrari or Porsche wanting to race.

Maybe it is just me, but I am not going to beat up on my car just to show up a vette or viper (even if I could beat them in a race). the Viper definitely has more horses but I am a professional driver and could probably win!

Just had to vent on these children.

I almost ordered the Long Beach Blue. It is beautiful!!

Andy-

Could you give me your thoughts on going from an Esprit to an NSX. I currently own a 2000 Lotus Esprit V8 and have been thinking about switching to NSX. I have some telling me the Esprit is much more powerful and others telling me the NSX is way better car... I unfortunately don't have ANY NSX's near me nor do I know anyone with an NSX anymore.

What are your thoughts? You can email me if you'd like.

Thank you!!!
