I'm sorry to say this, but those pictures are terrible. Now, if they were taken with a phone camera I'll cut you some slack.

I think the pics lost something in the resize. I thought they were pretty good. I will get some better ones up soon.

haha... i guess people on prime have been spoiled by good photos...

I guess so. Im affraid to post recent pics now :frown:

Nice nsx btw!

Nice looking car. But we do need photos when you are more prepared.

Okay, the last two pictures are nice. You do loose a lot of detail when you resize the images. You had the right intention originally, it was the presentation that sucked.

It looks like your friend was experimenting with the ISO function (for night shots) on the camera. A tripod is a must have when using a delayed shutter (ISO function) because ANY movement will make the pic blurry. Have him/her try again with a tripod or turn the ISO off

You are absolutely right. He just bought the camera a few days prior and was experimenting with the functions. I think it was a Nikon D200 or something along those lines.

I have just seen some bras scratch up cars. I guess if you put it on for trips and take it off, you'll be ok. But the thing does move when you are up to speed. Just look at the paint under a halogen or direct sun to make sure.

This bra has fleece lining on the back (the contact patch with the paint) So I don't imagine there would be too much trouble with scratches. Either way, I'd rather deal with a fine scratch than a big rock chip.

ISO means the speed of the film... so it adjusts the sensitivity to light... its similar to the F-Stop on 35mm cameras.

For darker scenes, you want to turn up the ISO a bit, and yes for the long exposures, definitely get a tripod- unless you plan on having some crazy effects ;) But thats neither here nor there......

btw nice pics... yea you can get away with posting close to the original resolution on this forum... unless its above a 4-5 megapixel camera... then ppl start to complain :) I dont mind b/c I have a 30" LCD monitor so the bigger the pics the better I always say.

Good luck:cool:

Really? I'll be sure to keep an eye out, but so far it seems ok. It sure has saved me from a lot of chips though.

HUH??? And your car looks like ass now.......I've never understood this logic AT ALL. Seriously, please let me know why you think a BRA is a good idea??? It even messes up the paint under the bra...all to save a few rock chips?????

The purpose of a bra is the protect the paint. I don't know why some people think it will damage the paint under the bra. This bra is lined by fleece. I can see if a bra was lined by vinyl or leather how it would rub away at the paint and damage it. I am sure this one (Colgan Customs) doesn't. It is as perfect as the rest of my paint.

Although I hope it will never happen, I am sure the next owner of this car will appreciate the care I have put into maintaining it.

And if I really want to upset you: I have seat covers too.

why???

It's an NSX!! Drive it! Why put on seat covers, an ugly bra?? Do you also have plastic on your couch?

If you want it to be just pretty put it in a vacuum bubble... I'd rather have a car with some minor rock chips (that you don't even see until your upclose), than some big ass bra where you can't even see the beauty of the car. And then seatcovers... Just learn how to get in and out of the car properly and you have no problems...

Sorry for the rant, but it just upset me sometimes...

And if you really want a bra, there are plastic ones, like a sticker.

So your going to make your car look like total junk, just so the NEXT owner can enjoy it? That is dumbest line of thinking I can think of.

And BS on the bra thing. I've been around cars a looong time and can gaurentee you....a bra WILL 110% damage your paint. When they go on....they never come back off because your paint will look damage.

I'm thinking they are right... b/c dirt, dust, sand, small bits of gravel and everything in between will get caught between the inside of the bra and paint...

I actually like the interior photo the best. I'm no photography expert, but one thing I usually try to do is face the wheel directly at the camera. It looks much better in most cases.

I wouldn't run a bra on an NSX, but that's my personal opinion. I'm not going to flame you for it.

Wow. It's his car and if he wants to put a bra on his car, then let him.

But I do have to agree, the bra definitely does not look right on there. If you care so much about the rock chips, why not get a clearbra put on?
