before i installed my 18/19 set i thought i would have to lower the car. after actually doing it and living with the set up for a few months i have decided against it. you probably won't have the answer to your question until you put the new wheels on your own car. if you choose your tires correctly the over all diameter should not change much, therefore the car is not really any higher.hope some of this helps,rk
