hi guys

Once I saw that burnout video of the NSX equipped with RPF1, they really caught my eye (I don't like that vid at all aside from that). I haven't been able to find much pictures of these wheels (aside from the sos ones). I'd love to see some more shots if anyone has them.

Cheers

Heres one! Too bad I don't have a side picture on my computer right now.

Oooo good find guys. I have a bb and was thinking about a satin black vinyl wrap as well. Sweet!
We've just had the RPF1's powdercoated in satin black, but the NSX is still apart so no pictures just yet.
They should look quite good on Midnight Pearl with a satin clearcoat painted car.

I have this set-up on my car..

Front: 17x8 +45 wrapped in 215/40/17
Rear: 18x10 +38 wrapped in 265/35/18

Stock ride height

that 17x8 plus 45 sits pretty flush huh? looks great

I think that the blue car above is actually a +35.

Compare that to Brian's silver which is a +35 vs the red below which is a +45. They are all running the same 215/40/17 size tires.

When I bought my RPF1 from Tire Rack I ordered 17x8 +45 but I think they had sent me +35 as it was flush + some running 235/40/17.

thats what i thought also it had to be a + 35

thanks:biggrin:

no one is running a 18/19 set up for the RPF1? and let me ask, is possible to run a concave rim up front in these wheels?

thanks..

*blows dust off thread*

About to pull the trigger on these wheels. Definitely going 18x10 +38 rear, just deciding between 17x8 +35 vs. +45.

I have a 92 with stock brakes and h&r springs.

Anyone else pick up RPF1's recently?

Blue car is probably a +45. Reason it looks more flush is because it's stock ride height. As you lower a NSX, the suspension geometry pulls the wheel inward.

Also running a 235/40/17 on a 17x8 +35 is bound to rub big time. You'll have much less issues with the +45.

The easiest way to see is to pull the wheel off and see what is stamped on the back. Looks like this:

I'm pretty sure the answer is No. I believe (you'd have to call Enkei to confirm), but the concave face is on 9" or wider versions... meaning you'd have to run a 18x9 to get it, which is almost impossible on a stock body NSX.

I've always liked these wheels,If I were to replace my ssr's for track i would do the 17/7.0 at 45,the 7.5 at 48 might be cutting the inner wheel well too close for a 235 40,and the 17/10 at 45,although maybe the 9.5 at 38 might make it with a 275/40.

That sucks advan.
The rims look so nice at that ride height. Do you think the +35 front will be overkill? I'm hoping to get less convexed spokes on the front wheel with the extra offset.
