I think they would look good on the silver car if the bases were painted black or something.
I have a red car and thought about these mirrors, but I'd want my base to be carbon fiber...

As far as the mirrors are concerned for those that are interested:
Pros: Very light and pretty easy to install (if you know how to take your inner door off). Visibility is pretty good because there is a very slight curve to the mirror. It doesn't distort the image much but gives a great field of vision. Looks good; once you switch the stock mirrors just look so dang bulky and heavy.
Cons: No power adjustment; they are a serious pain in the ass to adjust (especially the passenger side because you have to get out of your car). And the adjustment method stinks; it uses a series of hex head set screws that are a pain. If you bump the mirror, they will move and you need to reset them all over again.
