Question for Raymond-honda and goldNSX: How is that fixed? I have the same problem. I've tried removing the covers and adjusting those but it's still off...
According to Acura Lynnwood(seattle) service manager John, body panels shift and move as these cars are hand assembled. This particular dealer charges about $175 to tighten chassis bolts throughout. If you disect a tracked car or higher mileage car upon closer inspection can see body panels shift.
You can say the same for pretty much anything aged/used in mechanics, eventually bolts loosen up the same rule applies to the NSX.
tightening Chassis bolts on the nsx to help fix body panel movement... if you believe this then boy have i got some good swamp land to sell you in florida!!
OK seriously.. the flip up headlights attached to the car via 4 bolts ... the two in the back that you see as you open the hood where the bolt heads are black and two nuts from inside the fender well (need to loosen the front of the fender liner to get access to them). If you loosen all 4 of these bolts you can move the headlight assembly around to align it. you need to make sure your hood is aligned and on straight before you align the headlights to it
