i'm looking to put on some 18" porsche turbo twists on the nsx they are both 18" with high offsets. i'm coming from the euro scene where the norm is to purchase the high ET porsche wheels and use adapters to fit them unto our cars. that being said please post any pics please. it seems everyong runst on size smaller in the front so i just wanted to see if the nsx will look akward with same size wheels f+r.
thanks.

You need the front tires smaller than the rear for the Abs system to work correctly. The computer needs to see the front wheels spinning faster than the rear. Also putting the same size tires front and rear upsets the balance of the car making it more prone to over-steer(ass end coming out).

if i'm not mistaken....SNDSOUL's running 18/18's on his nsx?

This is most definitly not the 'norm' in the 'euro scene'; turbo twists will look bizzare on an nsx, and probably won't even fit once you throw a bolt pattern adapter into the mix (which you would need to have custom-made, to account for the different centerbore sizes).

Rim diameter does not need to be staggered, 18/18 is fine, provided you opt for correct tire sizes to keep TCS happy - using 18/18's with a 215/35/18 (F) and 245/35/18 (R) will result in less outer-diameter change than the regular 17/18 combination.

this information is all in the FAQ (tcs info that is, not 'im smoking crack and like porsche wheels' info)

sorry for the size

Here's a couple pix of the 18's that came on my car. These particular wheels aren't really my taste - I've got replacements that will go on once I wear through the current rubbers.

sorry, the pix are kinda big and not the clearest..

both of the ABOVE cars seem like local Los Angeles area cars... you guys should both join us for a 30+ almost nearing 35+ NSX's to this weekends PAG meet...

Turbo twists look pretty damn sweet on 993's, but I don't know about on an NSX. I don't think they'll look good at all. But to be fair I haven't seen it, so i'll be glad to admit i'm wrong if I see them and they look okay. Why not just take the easy and proven route and get the standard 5 spoke.....blah blah blah....... rim like everyone else? On the bright side I can't imagine them being as bad as those 1 spoke, blade like Niche rims. I saw those on an NSX once and almost gagged. Why..........?

I beg to differ, i have been in past knee deep in the euro scene both with the vw's and bmw's and i've always tried to do something different. look below. all the wheels i've owned have been high quality german wheels and most of them have been ordered for the porsche because i have networks to get them at discounted rates. so that being said the porsche wheels used on the bimmer and VW have all been high ET's and i know alot of people do this as well. i have attached pics below.
Also i don't think you'll need need anything custom. thats why you specifically need high ET's. i am using adapters on my one of my cars right now that are not custom made you can purchase these off the internet. i always have.

I think they will look good. i'm getting the turbo twists + cash for my P3.6 wheels pictured below. i was going to use the 3.6's on the nsx but the rear ET's aren't high enough. with the 50/56 ETs on the turbo twists i can run 20mm adapters and be fine on the nsx that should bring it down to 30/35''ish

Here are pics of the 3.6's on my dub it's a 20th anniversary GTI #2212 only 4000 made.
