Well my Piaa 1700X Foglamps went out today. They worked fine the other day..but when I started the car today they were out. :( I checked the bulbs which are still brand new cuz I just replaced them and they're fine. The kit was on the car when I bought it, so I'm not too familiar with the whole setup. Theres one wire leading to the fusebox under the hood and its going into a fuse for the rear tail lights, theres no switch so it just turns on with the parking lights. The fuse inside was ok. So if the bulbs are ok, where should I start looking next? Thanks in advance.

first, nice avatar!

I would think that there is an in-line fuse holder somewhere between the lights and the fuse box and probably that fuse blew. Another suggestion would be to check the ground wire as it may have come loose.

Let us know what you find out.

Thanks for the compliment and reply Veleno. :) There doesn't seem to be any other fuses and the ground is on the negative on the battery tightly. Theres just wires and this relay thing.

one sure way to find out where the problem lies would be to test the wires for power. get yourself a tester (the one that has a light bulb in it with a pointed end and an alligator clip should work). Then turn on the parking lights and test the power wires to see if power is going through. Be sure to check the wires at the fuse as well. Test both power wires before and after the relay.

Sometimes a fuse may look good/un-popped but it's actually bad. I've had this happen before on my old car.

Ok I got the tester and tested before and after the Relay, and its the relay that went bad. So now I have to find a replacement somewhere, bah! Thanks for your help Veleno!

Glad you found the problem.

Pull the relay apart and see if you can maybe clean the contacts, or make sure that the wires are making contact so you rule out all fixes before looking for a new relay.

HTH :)
