Looks great Chris. I don't know who looks the most pleased, you or your son.

It's great that you picked the best color. Red is also the fastest, but I guess you knew that.

Looking forward to meeting you at a future meet.

Doug

P.S. Happy Birthday

thanks Doug. Looking forward to meeting you and other NSXers.

BTW, 'cooking with WD40' cracks me up every time....

Chris

05 red with tan interior, I think you got the best. Mine is #52, what number is yours? ( look for the last digits on the door sill) Is that the unit that was for sale at a dealer in Walnut Creek? Congrats!

Mine is #61 with an "S" designation in terms of city of assembly.

I'm educating myself on the whole realm of possible mods....first things first: ipod adaptor from Grom.

Chris

BTW, I never thought I'd say this, but after looking at all the NSX Prime owners' cars, mine looks downright plain. There are some very amazing looking cars here.

Welcome to the NSX community. There is an NSXCA Bay Area Chapter and we happen to have a chapter meet scheduled for March 28th at

Hola! Mexican Restaurant & Cantina
1015 Alameda de las Pulgas
Belmont, CA 94002
Phone: 650-591-1735

The meet begins at 1pm. We hope you will be able to attend.

Below is a link to NSXCA.org where you can become an NSXCA member. Although, you are not required to be an NSXCA member to attend our chapter meets. That is until Bill aka racer-ex begins to apply peer pressure :biggrin::biggrin:

Again welcome and we hope to see you on the 28th of March.

Nice, very nice...

Congratz' on the '05 New Formula Red - Tan combo'... IMHO, it's the epitome of class for the '02+ NSX-T models. A very traditional & timeless look. . .

I think tan is designated as "Camel" interior in later models; I *believe* Camel is slightly lighter than "Tan" in the '94-'96 models, but slightly darker than earlier "Ivory" models. I'm just going by memory!

For the Ipod/iPhone
This thing plugs into the wiring harness behind the drivers seat. Fish the other end out to where you want the ipod mounted.

Panavise Bracket
I ordered this bracket for my center console....the ipod will sit just to the right of the AC controls.

MikeC - thanks for the invite....I think I mght be able to make it. Are you meeting at Hola's before 1 pm for lunch...then a drive or lunch at 1pm?

Osiris - I love the red/tan or camel look too. Very timeless. But it's going to take a while to get used to all the stares .

NSFRBLX - Thanks for posting those links. Is the USA/Spec product superior? I've read in the electronics forum that the Grom was the overall winner of the reviews.

Hi Chris,

Typically some of us arrive about 15 minutes before to hang out and catch up with each other. Then we go in to the restaurant to get settled. After we give the server our food order we then conduct chapter business. Once we conclude chapter business we eat and hang out. After we pay the bill we all go outside and hang some more. If there is going to be a drive, it will happen after lunch.

Hopefully, you will be able to make it and bring your son along as we will always welcome a future NSX owner.
