Hello, I am wondering if one of you awesome Prime members could help me. I am bring up an 03 black on black but it has the OEM hood. I need to borrow some ones picture of his car because he has the 02 - 05 look with the down force hood. What I am wondering if some one could please color the hood cream color and then a second shot with the roof cream and a third shot with the hood, roof and mirrors cream color. Much appreciated for the person that take take the time out of their busy day to do this for me. Thanks again!!

dude.... cream??

Ya cream based on I think the GPW would be too bright. So I figured a cream color, like what Mercedes / BMW uses on there cars. All the high end sedans that have that luxury prestige look are cream color. So I was thinking of being a bit different try soemthing new and fresh. If I dont like it then just paint back to OEM - simple... It is not like I am going in and painting all the door jams and tops of the fenders or anything like that. just an aftermarket hood and maybe the roof / mirrors.

It might not be for all, but some one has to try something new once in awhile!!:biggrin:

Anyone? This I have to see.

I just want to point out that its no easy task so you might not get many replys.

Changing from one color to another is pretty easy. BUT...

Making a white object black and vice versa is really hard because they are oposites in contrasts and not really colors - rather lack of colors. There is also a huge difference in light reflections and shadows in a white contra black (especially gloss) object. You really cant se any shadows on a black car, and light reflections arent as pronounced on a white car. All this makes it very hard to make a realistic looking color swap between them.

Do champ white, the opposite of what my car previously was and what NSX-R's usually are...

Best I can do for you, opposite of what my car was

Thanks alot, I realize it hard to do because of the black, but what was done doesn't look that bad. I think I will try to work off of that and see what I can do. Thank you all that replyed.
