PGP Motorsports Park Event

Has anyone ever been to PGP for lapping or Tag Karts?

Their next event is on Feb 20th and I am probably going to go check it out just to see what its all about.

Hello, I have been there to race both my shifter kart and a tag kart. Lots of fun and a challenging track. Quite wide for karts but in a car it would be tight. Great facility and the staff is even better.

Thanks for the heads up! Have you been for this event (stars of motorsports)?

Also, as far as the Go-Karts can you just show and go? Or do you have to schedule/take a class?

Yes I have been to the event but not raced at this one. It is fun to watch- two kart categories plus some bike and drift cars.

As for showing up to drive karts, yes it is just that- show up and drive. There rental carts usually start running after 12.00pm as in the morning it is usually private karters doing test and tune.

I was mainly going to go watch the drifting setup. But I have also been on the lookout for two exact cars you mentioned (S2000 or Miata) to turn into another dedicated track car, more so AutoX.

Went there for half a day last wed. plenty of drifters. :wink:i basically just go there to have fun with my car. I don't race or pretend to be one. Me and 3 other cars are planing to go again march9(pending weather). Some of 6speed guys might be coming too. See you there.

Dang I will be in Puerto Rico, but please do hit me up the next time you go! Was last Wednesday a drift event or just an open day? Can you show up and drift any day you like?

Highly recommend trying Pacific GP in karts or cars. Sold the NSX a while ago but currently race shifter karts at PGP. They have a lot to offer - karting, drifting, time attack, lapping days. Will start racing again for the Spring and Summer season in April - Stock Heavy Shifter, come and check it out and route for #5 (blue suit) or maybe the new #28.
