What do you think about Peet's coffee vs Starbucks. Store, service, food etc.

I appreciate your help in finding more about Peets since they don't have one where I live. Thanks.

I prefer Peet's to Starbucks in pretty much every way, though I end up at Starbucks 99% of the time (might have something to do with convenience).

That said, I found that one Peet's that opened closer to my home made better / stronger Freddos when they first opened...and they got weaker on subsequent visits. The Frappucinos I order at the Starbucks I frequent have been far more consistent.

Peet's has baked goods delivered fresh daily.
Starbucks has frozen thawed out baked goods. - 'go to the freezer get the box'

Peet's is much better than Starbucks.

But Dunkin' Donuts is better than either.

+1

Dunkin donuts is best coffee period.
It's strictly S,M,L,XL with cream and sugar or without
None of the bullshit "tall" grande or venti or all the flavor BS
I live in west coast now so I don't have a choice but to pick up Starbucks otherwise they wouldn't see a dime of my money

No Dunkin Donuts in California....yet...

Sadly, none at all in California - haven't been for nearly a decade. We had some up in the Bay Area, but the last one, in Sacramento, closed in 2003 or so.

You won't find them everywhere. The three founders of Starbucks, who knew Alfred Peet personally, founded Starbucks in Seattle, Washington and bought the coffee beans for Starbucks directly from Peet's during their first year of business in 1971. Peet's coffee is very good and quite robust.

I go to Starbucks more but prefer Peet's. Matter of convenience and proximity. I brew at home and buy "The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf" brand. Very tasty.

I love the ice coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

However between Peet's and Starbucks, Peet's serves better coffee but hard to find one especially when you need that afternoon boost.

 In Bay Area is like,

#1 Blue Bottle (around Jack London Square in Oakland) (providing coffee class)
#2 Peet's (Berkeley 1st store)
#3 Starbucks (some items are good and easy to find everywhere else)

Never heard of Blue Bottle before.

I'm going to check them out next time.
