Parts more expensive at Sterling (Austin) than McDavid

Planning to replace my thermostat soon.

Called McDavid first and they have the part for $31.60 (same list price on the Delray site). Pre-mixed coolant is $12.92/gal.

Called Sterling (because they are closer to my office) and they quoted me $40.29 and $14.28. I told him what McDavid quoted me and he said "they must be giving you a discount." He said he'd match McDavid.

I drove to McDavid anyways.

Mc David also does a 10% discount to NSXCA members. David Chavez is also a master mechanic on the NSX.

Thats a helluva alot more than 10%! Good job, I never use the guys that match someone elses price, I simply go back to the one with the lower price from jumpstreet.
