I have gotten a CEL Ign malfunction (misfire) code twice, so am starting to expect a possible defective Ign coil.
Acura of Lynnwood sells a complete kit of 6 coils and plugs for 1995-up model NSX for a very good price on Ebay.
Just by chance a guy here in Europe ordered them by mistake (he has a 1994 model) So he wants to ged rid of them, which would be easier for me than ordering from Lynnwood as they are quite difficult with sending parts outside the US.
Problem however:
-the box with the Lynnwood parts has:
Part# 06300-pr7-305, no other part # on there
-while when looking up the coil part# in the Acura parts list says:
Part# 30520-PR7-A33 coil FR ign (TC-2 2A)
Part# 30521-PR7-A33 coil RR ign (TC-2 2A)
Seems a bit strange to me, unless this is possibly a special part# for the complete boxed kit, the coils are confirmed to be 3-wire type.
Can anyone tell me if the boxed kit with different part # is correct for my 1998 NSX, can anyone confirm that Part# 06300-pr7-305 is OE Acura Ign. coil/sparkplugs kit correct for a 1998?
