Does anyone know how the parking lights are integrated into the car? My passenger side parking light (rectangular light below the headlights) is out and I need to replace the bulb. I have the bulb but I don't know how to get into the housing!! It doesn't look like a screw, and if it's a clip, the light fixture isn't popping out. Can anyone offer some guidance?...

Thanks

Just changed mine last weekend. Actually, it was my second try at it since I chickened out the first time and just re-tightened the screw that holds the assembly in. After you have unscrewed the retaining screw, you will notice the lense assembly is somewhat loose, but by no means did mine want to pop out. I carefully, but with some force, pried the lense assembly out using a rag and flat head screw driver. The lense assembly finally gave way and came out. Appears there was a lot of friction due to the gasket seals surrounding the lense assembly. If you run into the same thing, just use some confidence to pry that baby loose.

Of course, I have a '95 and it might be the first time the bulb was changed. You might not experience the friction fit that had to deal with. Stick with it. I found the bulb at local department store for about $1.00.

Shaun,

Check the bulb brightness vs. the stock bulb. This is as special 5W bulb, high brightness. I typically get them from the dealer. I tried the ones in the auto parts store, but it did not match up. Were you able to get a 5W bulb in a department store?

Thanks,
