Just got it. It is an amazing little mobile office device.
Downloaded and stored the Matrix Reloaded Trailer in good quality for such a small device.
6 way conference calling is very cool.
Powerpoint presentation to conduct my meetings once pluged into my projector.
Portable laptop and easier to lug around.
10 hours talk time
Web access anywhere
Smart Media Memory flash card

I got a Veo camera for it as well that attaches in the Expansion Card slot so now it is a 640 x 480 resolution camera and web cam. So I can Instant message from this Palm on Yahoo with voice and picture; so theoretically the states 1st video cell phone.

weird timing... i was checking Palm's out only four days ago.

How sharp is the screen? Doesn't it still only have 320x320 pixels?
I'd reallly prefer a Sony Clie... simply because the Memory Stick is so much better... but i'm sure others will disagree with that.

How do you find the mini-keyboard buttons? practical? Faster than the shorthand write?

You're right about that (Memory Stix sucks IMO). I think my next PDA will be PocketPC based, although Tan's Tungsten seems like a neat little toy.

In my opinion I like utilizing the small built in keyboard. Resolution max out at 620x480 with the camera I think. The point is I can surf the web with this device and the attached camera to get on yahoo to Instant Message with a web cam. Hence the first video cell phone.
Does the Sony have a sim card for wireless connectivity? Tungsten utilizes smart media flash card to increase memory. The camera goes into that memory card slot.

I am very well connected.
On the web everywhere. In the office as well as on the go.

Tungsten has the digicam/web cam attached. AT&T Wireless GPRS Network (100k) eventually 384K by years end.

Why do you need all three of those? The Palm replaces the Blackberry wireless features and has a phone built in, right? What am I not getting?

Also the Blackberry is always on so when an email comes thru it is instantaneous it also has wireless phone capabilities. RIM technology, triple DES encryption.

Palm has 6 way conference calling and you need to log on to the net; web is not always on.

T720 is just easier to carry around.

I think I will become sterile however, carrying all these around.

Tan:(

What a geek! Just kidding, I'm almost geeky as you. I carry around a Sprint cellphone (personal), Motorola talkabaout 2-way pager (work), Nextel cellphone (work), Palm III (personal), and my choice of laptops (Dell C400-work, Compaq T1700-personal).

Wow, that's a lot of "equipment"!

I have a Dell Latitude Work Laptop; a Toshiba Satellite Personal laptop with Wi-Fi and a Cable modem 4 Meg VPN for home.
A bitchin Home Theatre set up with a 120" ceiling motorized screen and an elaborate Polk Audio; Onkyo; Infinity sound system and DLP projector, XBR 36" Wega flat screen, 500+ DVD collection.

Self proclaim gadget freak and not a geek.

Tan, do you have a link with more info on the blue laser DVD that you will be getting? I'm very curious about this technology. Thanx.
