I know the cost of living is more in SF, but $800 to paint a rear bumper is almost criminal.Not long ago, I had to repaint the rear bumper on my '08 pearl white TL. Took it to a well respected body shop here in So.Cal, and he charged me less than half of what you paid (which included a surcharge for pearl paints).Maybe your body shop thought the rear bumper was aluminum, hence the extortionated price? :biggrin:
