Painted 02+ headlights?

Does anyone have pics of painted 02+ headlights in black.

I am getting my 02 headlights painted, but I am really having hard time deciding between white or black. Black headlight housing looks amazing on AP2 GPW S2000s and white Supras, but not sure about GPW NSX.

I photoshopped this awhile back. It was originally a red NSX with black painted headlights. I too am wondering if I should do this to my GPW... but I still want to see how it turns out first. Either black or the "nsx-r" style white.. but since my car is so black and white... I want black! And yeah, it looks amazing on those cars... heck, it even looked good on my 94 civic hatchback... hehehe baking headlights. those were the days.

Jason,

Get Umbrella Autodesign to wrap them in carbon fiber and then get them smoked finish clear coat.

Or white would work too..

I'm curious as to how black would look too.

Personally, I think white would look great on your car as you have the NSX-R theme going on.

But if you get black, you could always trade with Evo575 (who has white headlights on a black car) in case you guys feel like a change. :biggrin:

I was in the same situation couple of months ago. But till today I still think full white or full gloss black would look good on a white car.
My only reservation for black headlight with white body. I reckon our eyes would focus on the headlight more readily compare to white ones.

In my opinion, the painting the headlights black would look good on any color. At least it would look unique relative to all the silver ones. I noticed the F430 has a matte black finish on the headlights and that looks pretty cool.

The owner of the blue one opted not to paint the entire assembly but only part of it... I think it looks sweet but If/when I do it I am going to paint the entire assembly. I think it makes the front end flow together much better.
