Paint shops in Phoenix

I did the search and nada... Erin knows a place but is on his honeymoon and patience is not my strongest virtue...

Anyone know a really good place to have work done? I just got the BIGGEST chip right below the 'A' emblem and it's killing me... deep to the yellow primer (?) and flaking a bit. It's the size of a quarter right now... and while I'm at it I may do a 3M clearbra (suggestion anyone??)



I've heard that Hunters, although they do great body work, may only do so-so paint work... there's also Scotts' CW and Kustom KW (a chain of sorts)

Any feedback would help as I would like to get it done before a St. Pattys road trip to Vegas! (bachelor party for a friend!)

We got our paint work done at Hunter's and were quite happy with the end result. In fact it was taken there on Chris' recommendation. Outside of that I can't be any help, but I wouldn't hesitate to take our car back to Hunter's.

I'm back from my honeymoon! It was awesome BTW. :smile:

I would have to say that the best work I've seen on an NSX was from Scott's Coach Works - he also has all the info and hookups on getting a 3M clear bra and he also has good door ding remover guy. I've been there and talked with Scott about doing some work to my car - he's a great guy. I've also used Kustom Koachworks in Scottsdale... they're really good at that particular location. They did a perfect color match on my red. So when do you plan on getting this done? I can call KKW and see if they'll give us a deal on paint and clear bra. Let me know what you think.

i've used Brad's Deer Valley autobody at 19th north of deer valley. They remove each panel any time they work on it. Good results for all the chips i have had done by them.

My buddy who works at Bell Acura recommends this place:

He's helped a couple of Acura NSX owners get rock chips repaired at this place and says they do a great job for less. Apparently one of the customers got quote from another place for $3k, and was able to get the same type of job from Dale for $1.5k, and had it come out really good.

rob...i say hunters.....i think they are BETER at the paintwork than bodywork. they are definatly know for their painting skills.

Whew... went to Scott's for an estimate: $1000!! He said the whole nose should be done. They take the bumper off, strip the whole thing, paint it, and bake it then reassemble. I was hoping for around a grand for the paint work AND a Clearbra...
