paint my roof?

Im really bad at uploading pictures. Every time I try it says "file size too big". This photo was the only one to upload but its very small. I have 3 photo's in the member's photo galleries. I could really use some help because I would hate to destroy my car by painting the roof without seeing what it would hypothetically look like. Help me please!!! Thanks

My original thought was it will look just like the car I bought from you Mike......a good look. But I also like the black top too. Personal preferance I guess. PS - We love the car; thanks again.

I personally would leave it black. The black roof is one of the original design elements for the NSX when it was being based off of the cockpit of jet fighter aircrafts. Seems like everyone is trying to paint their tops to make the car look newer than it is. I say be different and STAY ORIGINAL with the paint scheme. 
Both painted and black look good; it really comes down to personal preference. i marginally prefer black - it makes the car appear lower. 
But painted is just as nice, so long as it's a quality paintjob.

thanks djjonnie for the before and after pics. My car looked almost identical to your the day I brought it home. Well I dropping off my car tommorow, 11/02 to have the roof painted. I figured since I didnt need the car I might as well do the 2002 rear valence conversion as well. Ill post some pics as soon as the car is done. It will be ready on 11/22 so ill post some then...

Mike - Excellent decission, your car will look completely different with the red roof and the '02 valance upgrade. I did the '02 valance with the Comptech exhaust and it looks terrific (sounds good too).

Im decided while I was at the body shop to do the 2002 side skirt conversion and am seriously comtemplating doing the whole front end conversion... I keep buying more parts and shipping them over there!!! someone stop me- im insane!!
I like the Wings West rocker panels. I like the hood with the vent cut into it. I don't like the front bumper that also has the big lip/spoiler that sticks out and will likely break off w/in one week of normal driving. You can sure go nuts on these cars - all it takes is a lot of money. How about that Comptech supercharger.......
Im currently looking for a set of side skirts. I like the 2002 ones but the Wings West ones are pretty tight too... I also wonder if someone could provide some pics of exactly what gets painted and what doesnt for the inner engine bay/hatch/rear valence..
