i want to buy LARGE martin logan speakers from a guy in georgia but he insists on pick-up only (i'm in michigan). are there services out there that pick up, package, and ship?

I've used UPS to do pickups! Just call it in, the next day, they pick it up. Simple. If he's willing to package it, I think you can call, pay on the phone with credit card, and then schedule a pickup. I'm not sure they will pick it up without packaging.

I would think those might be too fragile to ship unless they were really packaged well, if they were mine I would want someone to only pick them up too. Great choice on the speakers by the way!
