An overnight NSX trip to Cambria is planned from Thursday March 19, 2020 to Saturday March 21, 2020, with an option to stay until Sunday March 22nd. The event consists of drive from SoCal and NorCal to Cambria (Central Coast). We will be staying at the Cambria Pines Lodge under a special promotion. Click on the link below for hotel reservations and costs. Exact plans for the drive to the Cambria Pines Lodge will be determined once participants sign up. However, participants will meet meet at point along the route to Cambria (NorCal and SoCal) and caravan to Cambria. While in Cambria there will be wine tasting tours and/or a trip to Hurst Castle.

Just took a trip down through there from the bay area with my wife and our NSX. Loved the drive down the coast, you guys will enjoy the scenery out there!

Note: The original event end date was incorrect. The event ends on Saturday March 21st. However, at least three of us will be staying until Sunday March 22nd. So, there is an option for those who are attending; stay until Saturday or stay until Sunday.

Remember, in order to take advantage of the room discount, you need to book your room by Jan 8th.

Also, the room cost includes breakfast, dinner including a bottle of wine, and two for one discounts at three local wineries.

This event is also posted in the SoCal NSX Owners Facebook Group.

Following is the final list of participants:

1. Mario Cano & Guest (SoCal)
2. Alan & Jill Kagan (SoCal)
3. Craig & Jan Ryan (SoCal)
4. Ed Bryne (NorCal)
5. Stuart and Anita Cole (SoCal)
6. Haroon Saidy & Family (SoCal)
7. Alex Lechtman (NorCal)
8. Dee D’Orazio (SoCal)
9. Tom Henkins (SoCal)

I’ll be in touch later in the month to provide Carvan Meeting Location (SoCal & NorCal), proposed routes and stopping points, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday itineraries.

Thanks for such a hardy response. This has been a great event in the past, but this there are more than twice the number of NSX’s!

Jill and I are IN. We will be going up to Cambria and staying at the Pelican Inn on Moonstone Beach with the San Diego Miata Club 1/31-2/2 (or 2/3) but this area of California and the USA is definitely worth visiting on multiple occasions.

Our hotel reservations at Cambria Pines include vouchers for wine tasting
Hearst Castle is nearby

anyone else have suggestions ??

And......I seem to remember that driving up Hwy 1 from Cambria to Carmel can be a BLAST (if u r not stuck behind an RV).

I was up in this area in September and at that time the road from Hwy1 up through Hunter-Liggett was in great condition. ( Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd ). I drove it in my Miata and plan on doing it again in the NSX. You are all welcome to join me

All, This event is not closed to additional participants. You can still join us, but you won’t be able to get the $179.00/Night promotional room rate, and you will not likely get the cabin rooms, the included dinner and bottle of wine and wine tasting discounts.

If you are truly interested in joining us, call Cambria Pines Lodge or go on line (click on link below). and see the normal room rate costs.

I did a quick online check and found rooms within the main building from $132 to $225/night and includes continental breakfast. The room is not necessarily the selling point of this event. The best part of this event is driving some beautiful winding roads, a trip to Hearst Castle, fun wine tasting, and group breakfasts and dinners with your fellow NSX owners. This is truly a great trip, not only for us NSX owners, but also fun for spouses and significant others!
