I almost overheated once on the grid last year, that is why I voted for "2003". However, I suspect there is an overheating incident that happens each calendar year.

Oh, you mean year model of NSX? :D

I think your question would be more appropriate for FI or Turbo cars(since you have a CTSC).

My NSX hasn't ever overheated on the track(knock on wood). Heck, last time at TWS- I was waiting at the grid with the AC on to cool off prior to getting on the track. Even then, the temp gauge never moved.

btw, I voted for the last choice.:D

Hmmm...I did overheat at the track. Perhaps temp and humidity as something to do with it as well? 99 degrees here many times has a heat index of 110+.

My condition: overheated, close to redline peg, at two (at least) summer events.

My fix: Dali Racing rad/oil cooler with big 'ole fan. My OE rad was looking really bad and the Dali rad was cheaper than the OE one. Seems to work so far.

So far( knock on my wood) no overheating issues on track in my na 96,and I do run it pretty hard and I have run in sweltering temps. My radiator is original and has many smashed or dented fins:confused: so who knows, but if we get enough responders we might start to make some inferences about this overheating topic.:)

I should note that the fins on my rad were either bent or clogged beyond repair. Actually, I was quite ashamed once I took a look at it (How come I didn't see this before?) I'm 90% sure that was my problem.

I have driven my NSX in 60+ track events, some in sweltering heat (as matteni can attest).

I overheated only once, and the problem was traced to a leaky radiator cap. Replaced cap, problem gone.

I can imagine that forced induction NSXs would be more susceptible to overheating than the stock car.
