Ortega/Palomar Run 2016 - Sunday Apr 24

Was talking to Les this week and we decided that Sunday Apr 24 would be good day to maybe start a traditional Ortega/Palomar Run and try to make it an annual event.

Les and the LA/OC crew are going to meet up in SJC @ 7:30 am at the beginning of Ortega and then join up with the SD/IE crew at a Starbucks in Temecula @9 am as we head out through Warner Springs to Palomar then a quick lunch as wehead back home.


Meet up in Temecula is NOT at the usual Starbucks , it is at the one a few miles down the road with bigger lot to gather and meet.

That settles it. I'm definitely bringing "A" Miata and lining up IN FRONT of you so I don't have to smell your stinky exhaust. And I bet you will NOT be able to get around me (demolition derby Miata/NSX anyone) so I will win that way. I'm going to go find a $200 Miata for this EVENT. Hugs n kisses Alan

The San Juan Capistrano meet area is at 27194 Ortega Hwy, a little strip mall past the Chevron station just east of I-5. It sneaks up on you real quick so be sure to be in your far right lane as you get over the 5.

I have to share time with all my wheeled toys. The NSX went out to Malibu in March so it's the ElliptiGOs turn to play with friends. :biggrin:

I put the NSX in the shop for some minor paint correction 3 weeks ago and was told at that time I would have it back in 3-4 days. It's still there with a promise to have it back tomorrow (thursday). Even if I DO get it back before the weekend it's too soon for the soft paint to get road rash smacked so I will NOT be bringing the "phantom NSX" (did I really get one?). However........I am looking forward to kicking JC's butt with the Miata. :biggrin:
